I love the lake view. The people working there were awesome. Due to the language barrier there were a few times they just came all the way to the room to know exactly what we were asking or saying, and they had a smile the whole time.
The ceiling above the ice machine on the 4th floor. $450 for 2 nights, I don't expect a ceiling to be rotting out above the ice machine or anywhere else.

Room is big & comfortable with scenic lakeside view.
Lack of onsen facility. Male & female have to share onsen facility at different schedule timing.

The location on the shore of the lake was beautiful. Staff were very helpful and understanding of a non-Japanese speaker!
Would be helpful if the hotel was a little more accommodating regarding slightly early check-ins (E.G. 1:30pm instead of 2pm), particularly when it's raining outside!

Good location.Direct lakeside. Spacious rooms.
Way to expensive for what it is. The food in the hotel restaurants are showed us very good quality and high standing level. But its not worth half the price! Internet are only working at the two seat in the lobby... And what that with that lobby??? Looks like a souvenir shop? Hotel is ok. Shure you can sleep there. Its clean and everything but you will regret the money you paid...

fine view but missed dining options
The view from my superior twin room with a lake view was amazing. The staff were professional, kind, and spoke a decent level of English.
I didn't take advantage of the dining options on-site.

Recommend it for couples looking for a cozy getaway
The views of the lake and Mount Fuji from our room were amazing, Fine! I'll never forget how the staff greeted us with umbrellas when we arrived, such a nice touch.
It wasn't cheap, but given the experience, still acceptable.

Thank you for a great stay. The hotel is stylish and clean, the staff are welcoming, location is brilliant right next to Hakonemachi cruise port with which you can easily get to Togendai ropeway station. Marvelous and neat rooms with view are accompanied by top-notch service.

Thank you for the fantastic stay for a third visit sometime. The units are fabulous, beautiful on second floors. The location is stunning and brilliant, 2 km from an art museum. The area is pretty nice right by the waters edge, buses connecting to other areas of Hakone, including the Hakone-Yumoto train station and the lake central to all Hakone' s attractions:)))

The view from our room was amazing, with lovely glimpses of Lake Ashi and even Mt. Fuji! We took a ride on the complimentary area shuttle to nearby attractions, a fun experience for the family. Our spacious room was perfect for our beloved pet too.
In my wife's opinion, a guest laundry would have made our stay more convenient for the kids' needs.

Great view and comfy stay
I loved lounging in the big bath tub! Staff were super friendly and spoke decent English, a plus. Just wish there were more dining options nearby. Had to bus it for a bite.

would definitely go again
The room had a balcony with fine lake views and perfect sightlines of Mt. Fuji. It was clean and spacious with air conditioning, a coffee machine, and a private bathroom with a great shower. Breakfast was solid with Asian food options plus croissants and yogurt. The location by the lake was peaceful and close to the cruise dock.
